TWO STUDENTS DISCIPLINED FOR SHARING INAPPROPRIATE PICTURES. TWO STUDENTS REFERRED TO JUVENILE COURT FOR MAKING OBSCENE VIDEO OF STUDENT. THREE STUDENTS PROSECUTED FOR DISTRIBUTING NUDE PHOTO’S “AMONG FRIENDS”. 16 YEAR OLD GIRL AND 17 YEAR OLD BOY PROSECUTED FOR TAKING NUDE PHOTOS OF EACH OTHER. The cases above are local NOT national cases. Campus Impact, in partnership with The Lorain County Prosecutors Office and Lorain County Prevention Connnection has developed age appropriate presentations to educate students in 6th through 12th grade about the dangers of sharing information and pictures via cell phone, Facebook and MySpace as well as, the consequences of taking and distributing partially or fully nude pictures of their friends or themselves. Campus Impact presenters will follow your bell schedule and rotate every 45 - minute class period to present the program information. Presentations are conducted in a classroom setting of 25 - 30 students. Typically it will take two school days to present to 535 students on a standard bell schedule. Please note that group sizes were set based on best practices, providing the highest impact for students.
